A few years ago some innovative marketers came up with a set of videos showing some shortcuts in the world of internet marketing. Recently, the latest version marketing quickies videos came out; this is version three.
In the world of marketing, it is not unusual for companies to rehash old material. All they need to do is just rework the material and voila, a new product has been introduced.
After seeing Marketing Quickies start to show up on various marketer’s blogs, I wondered if the new version was a replay of all the old and tried material. An initial look reveals the difference. Marketing is always marketing, but the landscape changes.
This is the case with this new version. The techniques are similar, but the places to incorporate them are quite different. The online world is a dynamically changing place; and, any teaching source that does not address these changes stands the chance of becoming obsolete, or at the very least inaccurate.
By now, I am sure you might be on to what I am referring. The current Internet climate is largely into social networking. And the new quickie videos address these new opportunities. How do you use Twitter? How do you connect it to Facebook? What in the world can I do with a Squidoo Lens?
If some of those names are not very familiar, do not fear. You are not alone. This is relatively new ground, and you can get up to speed quickly. But more importantly, the “quickies” give you the tips to enhance your efforts versus those of your competitors.
I like the product because it is exactly what it says, a quickie. These are small tweaks which are not hard to implement, but can have a huge impact on your business.
But, in a tip of the hat to the old, there are still quickies for boosting more traditional marketing methods such as article marketing. So, all in all, I would say this was a worthy upgrade of an already good product.
